We moved to Mallorca in 1999 and it was our own property search and buying experience that inspired us to set up Shortcuts seven years ago.
We experienced first hand the frustration of viewing properties that looked great on paper, but in reality were disappointing and did not meet our needs or expectations. There seemed to be as many agents as there were properties and finding our new home was proving more difficult and time consuming than we had anticipated.
We gained our property experience working for one of the island’s largest estate agency groups and developed the Shortcuts service as a result. Over the last eight years we have worked on over 100 successful property search acquisitions, from sea view holiday apartments to country estates.

John Hind moved to Spain from the UK thirty years ago with his wife Ann, through his career in engineering management. They were so captivated by the lifestyle and beauty of the area that they decided to stop their travels and make it their home.
John's background in sales and marketing developed his sound skills in negotiation and research, which now provide clients with the best introduction to finding and owning property in the Costa Brava or Barcelona - where they also have a home.
Throughout the time they have lived in Spain, both have been closely involved with every aspect of buying, renovating and selling property in Barcelona and the Costa Brava.
